  We have a new government in Loriastan. We have joined forces with the ARM and they have joined our country. We operate on a high council.  It seems that the refugee camps in Pictonia are not immune to the rise in global cases of the virus Covid-19. Thousands of cases have been reported and dozens of deaths have already occured.  "We are having such a hard time controlling this" said one aid worker. "We need help!!" More to come

 The warring factions have decided to agree to a UN sponsored peace talk to be held at lunch today in the Breakout Space at 12:15.  It seems that the leaders have listened to the growing anti-war protests from both sides and are beginning to act. Hopefully a deal can be hammered out taking into account all of the needs of the different sides. Peace to Loriastan!

  I know our actions may seem extreme and not right. But in reality we did it to send a message, that they can't just do such an unjustified action and expect no consequences.  As Loriastan forces encircling the city targeted SFF strongholds 2 battalions of SFF troops approached Kate from the West. As they were making their way into the city they were spotted by MIG-27 aircraft doing low level reconaissance around the city. Loriastan air forces began an intense bombing campaign against the incoming SFF forces stopping their advance. As a result of the relayed intel Loriastan forces managed to turn around and set up a perimeter on the Western edge of the city. SFF and Loriastan forces have since fought to a rough stalemate on that front as artillery on both sides has been keeping troop movements to a minimum.  Some SFF forces were able to break out and pincer move to the south but have been unable to make significant gains or encircle the Loriastan troops. At this point the fighting has calmed down as both sides are digging in

  In a horrendous display of inhumanity the PFLS have blown up the hundreds of Loriastan POW's that were captured on the Southern Bridge.  As the prisoners were walking in a line totally surrendered and defeated the PFLS planted landmines and underground C4 charges blowing up the totally helpless POW's. Those that managed to survive the initial blast were shot by PFLS troops. The action has already been spotted on Social Media and the reaction has been of universal disgust.  A spokesperson for the US State Department has sent a stern warning to the PFLS and even the governments of China and Russia are beginning to think about distancing themselves from this conflict.  As the battle has continued to rage the SFF and PFLS have shrunk their forces to contain small key areas of the city of Kate. Civilians have been huddled inside their houses and apartments during the fierce fighting. Civilian casualties are in the hundreds at this point.  Loriastan forces have surrounded the SFF and PFLS forces but are in no way close to making them surrender.   In a rushed assault on the area surrounding Graceland and the Graceland Power Plant the ARM troops have begun a seige on the city and Power Plant simultaneously.  In a stunning turn of events the Loriastan military after surrendering near the Southern Bridge just several days ago has launched a massive and well coordinated military strike against the scant SFF and PFLS forces that were dug in around Kate. Using a multitude of divisions, air force, artillery, tanks and mobile troop battalions the Loriastan army struck at multiple defensive targets reigning a parade of bombs down on SFF targets that burned with the fury of a thousand suns.   It seems that two sets of protesters have clashed in the Eastern Port City of Port-o-Panch. Initially a few anti Samuel Bassil protesters started chanting "Bassil get out!" and were apparently armed with Pepper Spray and Batons given to them by unnamed Pictonian Government Officials.  When asked who supplied the citizens with these weapons of protest some of the anti-Bassil protesters said that they were given them by Republican Guard representatives. As soon as these protesters started their yelling and screaming and bashing windows pro-Bassil counter protesters stormed the streets in defense of the embattled President and began beating the anti-Bassil protesters.   To get your vote I understand you must understand the vision I have for this country so here's a bit about my views- As far as the conflict in Loriastan. I cannot side with any of the powers Involved. I side with whatever is best for Pictonia and its people. As President, the Civil War of our neighbors would be prioritized. As for the ARM. The ARM and WPFM are on very good terms right now, we have even engaged In negotiations for if I win the election. I understand their demands and I have a plan to meet their demands and please Loriastan.  As for SFF. Samuels ruined relationships with the SFF, that I can mend. Since a few days ago we have been funding our military with an increase in salary. They are now getting a salary with an average per hour they are getting paid roughly 17 dollars an hour. The typical military salary per hour ranges between 15-20 dollars an hour. We have also recently changed to a democracy. These are all points which Henrik has made in his speech.  In a not surprising move the leader of the WPFM Henrik has just announced his candidacy for the President of Pictonia. Here is what he had to say Thursday is the day, the day the people and everyone in Minoria have been waiting for. I'm sure it's obvious to everyone but I will be running for president of Pictonia. I have no doubts Sammy will fall because I trust in the people, I trust that you will make the right choice.   Even though the ARM is selling its diamond mines to the Pictonia government, it does not mean they get to take Loriastan land and call it their own. They will have to use and get workers to bring the diamonds across the borders. At this point, border changes are not viable. The ARM does not have the power to dictate where borders are. For now the land will stay under Loriastan control but the profits can be made from the Pictonian government. I am open to negotiations with the Pictonia government after their new leader is elected.  In a stunning show of solidarity with its people the government of Pictonia has decided to organize and run elections this coming Thursday at noon. All citizens over the age of 18 will be allowed to vote in this monumental event.  "They have finally listened to us" screamed one jubilant protester.  In a stunning announcement the ARM have decided to sell their control over the Diamond Mines of Kgoro to the Government of Pictonia for nearly $6 Million USD.  This effectively ends the ARM control over the region and will in theory allow the Pictonian government to control this Loriastan Territory.  It is interesting because this is Loriastan territory. How will the Loriastan government respond to the sale of land that is technically theirs. There are currently no clear plans for the transfer of operations of the mines so we will have to see how that goes.  The picture below is a leaked image showing an aerial image of the area being sold.
